T-Mobile could soon introduce a new Windows Phone 8 handset from Samsung to run on its new 4G LTE network. According to TmoNews, the smartphone would feature a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD screen.
This could very well be the Samsung Odyssey that The Verge pointed out last month, which would also include a 1080p camera on the back and a 720p front-facing camera. Additionally, the Odyssey is expected to have NFC support for Microsoft's Wallet Hub and Tap+ Send. The handset was initially discovered in court documents brought out during Samsung's ongoing patent trial against Apple.
We have yet to receive any official word on the matter, so for now it's just a big guessing game. But we're hoping it's true, as this would be a huge win for those wanting to stick with the Windows Phone platform. And let's not forget that this thing would run on T-Mobile's speedy 42 Mbps HSPA+ network.
